About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Administration and Finance. This senior leadership role requires a candidate with a master's degree in finance, accounting, business, financial management, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating sound financial management and leadership, providing strategic vision and direction, promoting effective and efficient resource management, and enhancing the short- and long-term fiscal health of the institution. Key responsibilities include advanced skills in budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and financial reporting, as well as knowledge of federal, state, and local accounting rules and regulations, specifically GASB and the state of Texas. The role demands a quick learner with a broad skill set and experiences across all aspects of finance and administration, and a proven track record in strategic planning, data and trend analysis, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders in a transparent and collaborative spirit, and the proven leadership skills necessary to lead, motivate, and mentor a strong and effective administration and finance leadership team. A CPA and experience in higher education and multi-campus financial leadership are preferred.
