About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Director for Asset Management, who will be instrumental in leading the financial and operational performance of its expanding utility-scale solar and energy storage portfolio. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing strategies to maximize asset performance and profitability, implementing best practices for asset optimization, and managing various contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. This role requires a proven track record in the energy industry, with a focus on project development, finance, or asset management, and a minimum of 10 years' experience. The ideal candidate will have commercial knowledge of key agreements in the industry, experience with financial and technical acumen, and a strong leadership background, preferably in a renewable energy development or IPP firm.Key responsibilities for the Senior Director include overseeing financial analysis, budgeting, and investment decisions, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and leading a high-performing team. The role also involves identifying and managing risks associated with solar and storage assets, preparing performance reports, and staying informed about emerging technologies to enhance asset performance. The candidate should be detail-oriented, a strategic thinker, and possess strong interpersonal skills to work across diverse teams. A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive operational efficiencies are essential, as is the ability to ensure regulatory compliance and support M&A processes. The position is pivotal in the company's mission to revolutionize energy and contribute to a carbon-free future.
