About the Role

The Company, a leading industrial real estate investment trust, is seeking a VP for its Americas Client Relations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing institutional investors in the Eastern US and Eastern Canada, with a focus on delivering a 'best in class' investor experience. This role involves building and deepening relationships with existing investors, as well as generating new relationships to attract capital to the company's strategic capital funds and ventures globally. The VP will work closely with the global head of client relations and other relationship managers and will be expected to raise capital on a quarterly basis, as well as for ad hoc ventures and M&A transactions. Substantial travel is required, and the role demands a strong understanding of real estate, particularly in the logistics sector, and a track record in investor relations or capital raising, preferably within real estate.The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, business, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in investor relations or capital raising. A background in private equity or institutional investment, particularly in real estate, is highly desirable. The role requires a leader with strong emotional intelligence, a team player, and excellent communication skills. The VP will be a proactive self-starter, capable of working effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision. Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM systems is essential, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects. The position is pivotal in supporting the company's commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2040 and its investment in logistics innovation and technology to modernize global supply chains.
