About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to join their team. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the financial management and accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the accounting department, streamlining budgeting and financial reporting processes, and producing comprehensive financial status reports to enhance operational efficiency. Key duties include coordinating the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be involved in regulatory reporting, providing financial updates to the leadership team, and managing all aspects of accounting, from billing to tax compliance.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in the consumer lending industry. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with a CPA or MBA being preferred. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in talent management, strong communication skills, and advanced financial and analytical abilities. Experience in a similar role at a financial services company, particularly in the consumer lending sector, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GAAP, with IFRS knowledge being a plus, and a history of successful financial project management.
