About the Role

The Company is seeking a Data Governance & Controls Vice President (VP) to join their team. The VP will be a key support to the Office of the Chief Data Officer, particularly in the areas of Report Inventory, Ownership, and Tiering Control. This role is essential for maintaining the Data Management Integrated Control Framework and ensuring the accuracy of reports to meet both internal and external requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the definition of report-related requirements, communication, training, and execution of the report inventory process across the various lines of business and functions. Proactive identification of process gaps and continuous improvement of the data governance framework are also key responsibilities.Candidates for this VP role should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or related areas. Strong knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, methodologies, and tools is required, as well as experience in coordinating data governance activities and working with data policies, standards, and controls. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, and Collibra, is necessary, and experience in risk and regulatory reporting is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading processes, conducting quality checks, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the data governance framework.
