About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Data Sciences to establish and lead the biostatistics, statistical programming, and clinical data management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, designing and analyzing clinical and translational studies, and establishing data architecture and processes to enable rapid analysis of various attributes that may impact safety and efficacy. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external partners, including the clinical leadership team, to ensure that program development teams have the necessary statistical input and technical expertise. Responsibilities include driving the design of clinical studies, overseeing biostatistical analysis, providing strategic guidance for regulatory documents, and ensuring the accurate and credible presentation of clinical and scientific data.The ideal candidate will have a PhD or MS in statistics or biostatistics, with over 15 years' of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry, and at least 8 years' of direct management experience. The Vice President, Data Sciences will also be expected to have extensive regulatory experience, including a proven track record with global registrational filings and approvals, and be proficient in GCP/ICH/FDA requirements. The role requires an expert in statistical software packages, with a strong understanding of CDISC standards, and the ability to work in a hands-on capacity as needed. The candidate should be results-oriented, with a positive attitude, and have a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
