About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering Operations to lead and support its global engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to domestic and international engineering teams, ensuring that all engineering projects and processes align with the organization's policies and objectives. This role involves overseeing engineering processes, delivery timelines, and the implementation of best practices to meet company goals worldwide. The VP will also be in charge of product rationalization, standardization, and the new product introduction process, including design for manufacturability. Additionally, the role requires the ability to identify cost reduction opportunities, improve product durability and reliability, and implement engineering procedures to mitigate the risk of design flaws.Applicants must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) and at least 15 years' experience in a leadership role within the engineering field, with a strong background in product development and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of engineering theory, design criteria, and cryogenic fluids, particularly in relation to cryogenic pumps. Experience in highly structured industries such as EPCs, marine, or automotive is essential. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in project management, cost control, and customer satisfaction, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface with various departments. Strong operational skills, technical program management knowledge, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships are also required.
