About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Finance and Investments to provide strategic and ethical management of its complex and diversified financial portfolio. This role is pivotal in overseeing a $50 million annual budget and $750 million in assets, including a significant endowment. The successful candidate will be responsible for long-term financial planning, budget preparation, and ensuring that financial decisions align with the values and mission of the organization. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the VPFI will also be involved in mentoring and leading various finance, IT, and operations teams. Expertise in ESG investment practices, sound accounting, and a deep understanding of anti-racism, anti-oppression, and multiculturalism are essential for this position.Applicants for the Vice President, Finance and Investments role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for a graduate degree or CPA license. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a financial leader, particularly in a values-based or social impact setting, and experience in the not-for-profit sector. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills are necessary, as is the ability to translate complex financial information for a diverse range of stakeholders.
