About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP for Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the coordination and delivery of monthly and annual financial statements and reports, as well as the annual budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with more than ten years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, including a minimum of five years in a senior financial leadership position. The VP will be tasked with ensuring the integrity and quality of financial records, analyzing financial data to recommend actions, and overseeing the preparation of financial analyses. Collaboration with the senior leadership team is essential to establish a strong financial environment and to support the presentation of financial and budget information.Serious candidates for the VP position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and have a strong background in financial management, particularly within the insurance, banking, or related industries. A CPA or CFA certification is also preferred. The role demands an individual with expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills, exceptional business acumen, and the ability to lead change. The VP will be expected to mentor financial teams, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and actively contribute to the improvement of the company's overall performance. Responsibilities also include managing the financial close process, maintaining comprehensive accounting policy documents, and supporting M&A activities.
