About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources with a strong background in manufacturing. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner, driving talent strategies and organizational capabilities to foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing HR plans to identify and address talent gaps, leading talent and culture initiatives, and driving diversity and inclusion strategies. The role also involves overseeing leadership and development strategies, managing complex employee relations issues, and serving as a change manager to ensure the organization is equipped to support business objectives.Basic qualifications for the role include a Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field, a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment, and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading HR teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of global labor relations, experience in both union and non-union operations, and the ability to assess the HR implications of business strategies. A hands-on approach, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to think strategically and act as an HR change agent are also essential. The role demands a leader who is comfortable at all levels of the organization, from the plant floor to executive meetings, and who can effectively manage a global, matrixed HR organization.
