About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Information Security to lead the protection of its intellectual property, data, critical infrastructure, and other assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive security program, including governance, strategy, processes, policies, and controls to safeguard against unauthorized access, use, theft, tampering, or damage. This role requires building a security-focused culture within the organization, developing a team of security professionals, and fostering collaboration with key stakeholders and industry experts. The Vice President will also be tasked with integrating security into the business's operations and product development, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining a proactive stance on legal and compliance integration.Applicants for the Vice President, Information Security position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in information security is required, along with the ability to communicate technical and security concepts to non-technical audiences. The role demands a strong background in enterprise-level governance, policy development, and application security, as well as experience in incident management and remediation. Strategic management, planning, budgeting skills, and a diverse technological and business background are also essential.
