About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Advertising Sales to lead the establishment of a new advertising revenue channel that complements the company's mission of enhancing everyday family life. This executive will be instrumental in guiding the company's entry into the advertising market, with a focus on capturing immediate market share and fostering sustained growth. The role involves developing and marketing robust advertising capabilities that resonate with the user base, particularly in the mobile and programmatic advertising sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the ad sales function, including strategy, organizational design, sales, operations, and forecasting. They will also be tasked with building and leading a high-performing ad sales team, maintaining strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders, and representing the company at industry events.Applicants for the Vice President of Advertising Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' in advertising sales leadership, with at least 5 years' at the executive level, and a proven track record of building and scaling successful advertising and partnerships organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in launching and scaling advertising divisions and deep connections within the brand and ad agency ecosystem. Proficiency in data analytics, strong business acumen, and exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. The role demands an entrepreneurial leader who can leverage advertising to enrich the lives of families and who is committed to the values of the company, including integrity, direct communication, and a focus on building exceptional family experiences.
