About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Business Development for Payment and Lending Solutions to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving the growth and success of the organization by developing and implementing strategies to enhance the sales cycle, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and understanding the specific needs of managed risk merchants to assist them in maintaining compliance goals. This role involves sales strategy development, sales cycle optimization, prospecting for new business opportunities, database management, relationship building, and market analysis. The VP will also be responsible for sales target achievement, compliance assistance, reporting, forecasting, needs assessment, marketing support, proposal, and contract creation, and may be assigned ad-hoc projects.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business management, sales/marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 2 years of successful sales and business development experience in the payments industry. Managed risk merchant experience is preferred. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the payments industry, exceptional communication skills, resilience under pressure, goal orientation, self-motivation, and a high level of organization and innovation in problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be honest, trustworthy, and committed to professional integrity, with excellent follow-up skills and proficiency in modern computer technologies and digital tools.
