About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Development with a proven track record in the AEC industry within California and/or Nevada. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and presenting business opportunities, as well as developing and implementing strategic plans for new business growth. The VP will work closely with senior leadership, manage the marketing team, and ensure that the company is presented with optimal business opportunities to meet profit objectives. The role also involves supervising the preparation of qualifications, proposals, and presentations, and representing the company at functions to strengthen stakeholder relationships. This role requires a self-starter with at least 10 years' of business development experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a professional demeanor with strong client interaction skills. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Business Development include qualifying potential opportunities, staying abreast of market trends, and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering large-scale projects in commercial, municipal, mixed-use, or hospitality and gaming sectors, and be familiar with project funding, permitting, and approval processes at various levels. Excellent communication skills, the ability to travel up to 50%, and a history of effective interaction with individuals at all levels are essential for this position.
