About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Capital Solutions to lead the analysis and execution of new and existing enterprise financial reinsurance and capital transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing unique strategies to secure new capital, maintaining a strong network within the capital and reinsurance markets, and attending industry conferences to stay informed of the latest trends. This executive role requires a deep understanding of investment fundamentals, contemporary capital and financial reinsurance solutions, and experience in sourcing capital from a variety of providers. The Vice President of Capital Solutions will also be expected to lead critical projects, engage with potential capital partners, and interface with the leadership team, including the CEO, CFO, and chief actuary.Applicants for this role at the company should have at least 15 years of experience in life insurance-related capital management and reinsurance markets, with a background that includes working with actuaries, lawyers, accountants, and investment managers. A Bachelor's degree with a strong quantitative focus is required, and advanced qualifications such as an MBA, CPA, or FSA designation are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of senior leadership, project management, and effective communication, as well as significant experience in creating and implementing new financial reinsurance transactions. Familiarity with investment analytics and various insurance products is also advantageous. The role demands a proactive and strategic approach to capital solutions, with the ability to design and communicate complex financial strategies that align with the organization's needs.
