About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Compliance to lead the development and maturation of its compliance programs, with a specific focus on digital heart health. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust healthcare compliance program, managing privacy compliance to ensure adherence to HIPAA and state privacy laws, and reporting on key compliance matters to the Executive Leadership Team. This role requires a strategic and tactical approach to the management of compliance risk, as well as the ability to stay current with evolving compliance requirements in the healthcare, data governance, and privacy sectors.Applicants for the Vice President of Compliance position at the company should hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree or relevant certification demonstrating healthcare compliance expertise, and have a minimum of 10 years' experience in compliance within the healthcare industry, with a preference for those with a background in healthtech or medtech. The role demands in-depth knowledge of government healthcare programs, particularly Medicare Advantage, and a proven track record in building and leading privacy compliance programs for HIPAA-regulated entities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, relationship-building, and change-management skills, and demonstrate the ability to assess and manage risk with sound judgment.
