About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development Operations and Donor Services to join their Development Leadership team. The VP will be responsible for leading and directing development operations and donor services functions, managing a team of professionals, and overseeing a range of activities including budgeting and reporting, planning and data analytics, prospect research, development communications, donor stewardship, and annual giving strategies. The role also involves playing a key part in developing and monitoring the development budget, and if appropriate, carrying a small portfolio of qualified principal gift donors. The VP will be expected to communicate the company's mission, goals, and programs effectively and with the highest professional standards.The successful candidate will be a senior-level development professional with over 15 years' of experience, including at least 5 years' in a management role. Applicants must have a proven track record in overseeing development operations teams, experience in working with teams managing donor relationships, and excellent leadership skills. The role requires a self-starter with a positive attitude, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to travel as required are essential.
