About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability to lead and drive compliance, safety, and sustainability initiatives across its U.S. operations. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a hands-on approach, working closely with regulatory agencies, developing EHS tools, and advancing the company's sustainability goals. Key responsibilities include developing and leading a team of EHS professionals, identifying and executing national EHS programs, influencing site leadership, and collaborating to develop best practices for EHS performance and compliance. The role also involves managing relationships with key EHS stakeholders, executing risk management processes, and ensuring expertise in relevant environmental regulations.Applicants for the Vice President of EHS and Sustainability role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, EHS, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years experience in EHS program development and leadership, with a focus on environmental compliance, is required, along with a minimum of 3 years experience as a member of an executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing across an organization, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple objectives in a results-oriented manner. Expertise in environmental regulations such as CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA, OSHA, and DOT is a must, as is the ability to manage remediation projects and interact with regulatory agencies and municipal leaders.
