About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Investment Strategy to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the valuation and analysis team, developing and driving strategies to enhance the company's competitive positioning, and working closely with the c-suite team. This role involves leading the project investment underwriting process, making investment and transaction pricing decisions, and maintaining a standard set of underwriting guidelines. The VP will also be tasked with managing the financial analysis department, mentoring and developing the team, and ensuring the quality and consistency of project financial models. Additionally, the role requires the evaluation of market intelligence, collaboration with the development team, and leading the execution of key commercial or strategic transactions.Applicants for the VP of Investment Strategy position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in project finance, tax equity, and investment banking. Leadership experience in managing a team of financial professionals, as well as a successful track record in deal structuring and managing complex financial transactions, are essential. The role demands a thorough understanding of project financing and tax equity structures, expertise in financial modeling and transaction documentation, and the ability to lead due diligence and commercial negotiations. The VP will also be expected to collaborate with the development team on M&A transactions and manage the financial analysis function in providing support for new financing transactions.
