About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Medical Strategy to lead their Scientific team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing content from a medical, scientific, and strategic perspective to ensure accuracy and consistency. This role involves active participation in planning and kick-off meetings, offering input in content flow and message definition for healthcare professional materials. The VP will also be expected to provide scientific content expertise for the company's brands, develop and maintain client relationships, and contribute to new business development. Cross-functional work with various agency departments, including pitching and client presentations, is a key aspect of the position.Applicants for the VP of Medical Strategy role at the company should have a high science degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) and approximately 7-10 years' of experience in a healthcare advertising agency setting. The position requires superb writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet is essential. The VP will be expected to have a proactive approach, be a strategic thinker, and be able to provide scientific and medical guidance to the team and clients.
