About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Contract Manufacturing Sales to lead the generation of sales leads, new customer contacts, and the development of manufacturing solutions within the chocolate confection category. This role is pivotal in closing new business for the company's contract manufacturing services, with a strong focus on achieving optimum sales volume and margin results. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract completion, and must have a proven track record in selling contract manufacturing capabilities, particularly within the chocolate confection industry. The VP will work closely with the Director of Operations, CEO, and other departments to onboard new projects, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure the effective servicing of co-manufacturing projects.Applicants for the Vice President of Contract Manufacturing Sales position at the company must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in contract manufacturing or packaging sales, with at least 5 years specifically in the chocolate confection category. The role requires experience in developing and closing new business leads, as well as the ability to negotiate sales contracts. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess the initiative to drive sales success. A thorough understanding of internal production processes and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team are essential. The VP will also be expected to communicate sales activities and negotiations to executive leadership and must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
