About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to provide strategic leadership and support for its various medical system service lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall service line strategy, including growth, development, and financial performance. This role involves budget planning, contracting with vendors and physicians, and overseeing the development of compensation for medical staff. The Vice President of Operations will have a dyad reporting relationship with service line medical directors and will serve as the primary link to support systems such as hospitals, IT, finance, nursing, marketing, and supply chain.Applicants must have a Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience. Key skills for the role include the ability to work effectively with staff, the public, and external agencies, as well as the capacity for initiative, good judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking, conflict management, negotiation, and personnel development. The role does not require specific licensure, certification, or registration. The Vice President of Operations will be part of a dynamic and diverse team and will be expected to foster strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the system's chief medical officer, associate CMOs, the VP of human resources, and the presidents and VPs of various hospital and operational divisions within the organization.
