About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Procurement to provide strategic direction and leadership to the sourcing and procurement organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving cost reduction, risk mitigation, and spend compliance, while establishing and enforcing best practices. This role involves developing a highly qualified team, facilitating change management, and identifying large-scale business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives. The Vice President will also be involved in high-level contract approvals, influencing strategic decisions, and ensuring the implementation of global agreements. Applicants must have a B.S./B.A. in business or a related field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 8 years' of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement. A strong background in performance measurement, contract negotiation, project management, and business analytics is essential. The role requires a proven track record in delivering complex sourcing and procurement initiatives, as well as in-depth knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in change management, be adept at problem-solving, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage and influence at all levels of the organization. Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager or Certified Professional Contract Manager are a plus.
