About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, People & Culture (VPPC) to lead their human resources, talent acquisition, and retention functions. The VPPC will be a strategic thought leader, responsible for enhancing the company's culture and values, developing and implementing talent management strategies, leading the talent acquisition process, and fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. This role requires a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR, or a related field, with a Master’s degree strongly preferred, and 10 to 15 years of experience in HR leadership. Experience in professional services and/or technology, particularly in artificial intelligence or cognitive computing, is required, with a background in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment being a significant advantage.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, team building, and driving the development of high-performance cultures. They should be adept at creating and leading initiatives to attract, develop, and retain talent, as well as designing and implementing diversity-enhancing programs. The VPPC will also be responsible for HR systems and compliance, ensuring that HR technology meets business objectives and maintaining knowledge of employment law and best practices. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to be a creative problem solver and work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
