About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Portfolio Management Supervisor for Hotel Franchise Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an underwriting team in the analysis, structuring, and closing of complex loans for hotels nationwide. This role involves overseeing the team's activities to ensure responsible monitoring and identification of credit risks, as well as working closely with the underwriting team lead and relationship managers to meet business goals. The VP Portfolio Management Supervisor will also be involved in training and developing staff and must demonstrate exceptional credit knowledge, underwriting skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, a minimum of 7 years of hotel or CRE-income underwriting experience, and advanced skills in financial statement and tax return analysis. The role requires a self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude, excellent organizational and teamwork skills, and the ability to manage multiple credit requests. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to ensure compliance with all banking regulations and company policies. The candidate should be adept at gathering and summarizing complex underwriting information, and be prepared to travel at short notice.
