About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Product Development to lead the strategic and operational efforts in the development of peptide-based therapeutics. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development process, from the identification of new opportunities to the advancement of drug candidates through all stages of development, regulatory approval, and commercialization. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on ensuring that all activities comply with regulatory requirements. The VP will also be tasked with building and mentoring high-performing product development teams, driving innovation, and maintaining a strong understanding of industry standards for peptide drugs.Applicants for the VP of Product Development position at the company should hold an advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and have a minimum of 15 years' experience in drug development, with a significant emphasis on biotherapeutics. A successful track record in bringing biotherapeutics to market, as well as experience in leading product development teams and projects, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the drug development process and strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for peptide drugs. Experience in peptide drug formulation, delivery technologies, and manufacturing processes is also required.
