About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Program Services to oversee the administration and functioning of its various programs, including those related to care and recovery, licensed AOD and mental health programming, re-entry services, and intake services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight of all residential and non-residential program services, ensuring compliance with governing authorities, oversight jurisdictions, and contracting agencies. This role involves addressing the needs and concerns of both staff and clients, and the individual will be expected to work as a liaison between the organization and contracting agencies. The Vice President will also be involved in making recommendations to the executive management team on a range of issues, including recruitment, policies and procedures, and participate in contract negotiations.Applicants for the Vice President of Program Services position at the company must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as public administration, social work, psychology, counseling, criminal justice, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years' experience working in a correctional, human services, or nonprofit setting, with at least 5 years in a management role. The role requires a deep understanding of the criminal justice system, behavioral health, substance use disorders, and the business community. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated abilities in resource management, effective supervision, problem-solving, strategic planning, and research. Strong mentoring and training skills are essential, as is proficiency in computer applications. The individual should be self-starting, motivated, and adaptable to changing technology, and be able to perform with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
