About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP for Recovery Operations Control Testing, who will be a key member of the team responsible for the end-to-end monitoring of operational controls within the recovery operations department. This role demands an individual with a strong background in risk and controls, serving as a subject matter expert in control testing and demonstrating an excellent understanding of control design and execution. The successful candidate will be accountable for control testing results, providing insights, and ensuring that the latest trends in control testing are applied. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the position involves significant interaction with internal stakeholders and occasional external customers. The VP will also be involved in training and supporting team members, driving continuous improvements, and maintaining relationships to ensure the success of control testing in alignment with the business's strategy.Applicants for the VP role at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience, with at least 3 years' in risk and controls. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred. The candidate must be adept at MS Office tools and have a strong MCA framework and process knowledge. The role calls for an independent thinker, capable of challenging business practices, and a team player with strong relationship management skills. The ability to work effectively in virtual teams and across different geographies is also preferred.
