About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Sales to serve as the commercial lead and fulfill leadership and coordination duties for the Sales and Business Development team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing an overall strategy to drive the company's growth, with a focus on the logistics and final mile ecosystem. Responsibilities include leading a team of sales and development professionals, carrying a personal sales quota, and partnering with marketing to create and maintain a qualified sales pipeline. The role also involves executing a solutions-based value engineering approach to the customer buying journey, aggressively building the sales pipeline, and working with the senior management team to expand commercial potential.Candidates for the Vice President, Sales position at the company should have an MBA or equivalent experience within the logistics/SaaS arena, with a minimum of 8 years in senior sales leadership and 5 years in SaaS enterprise sales, particularly in the supply chain or final mile. The role requires a proven track record of leading sales teams to meet or exceed quotas, as well as experience in brand building and development in new markets. The ideal candidate will possess excellent team leadership and commercial strategy skills, and a strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and advertising techniques. Attributes of the successful candidate include being an impactful leader with a "can-do" attitude, deadline and results-focused, and having a professional work ethic with the ability to travel as needed.
