About the Role

The Company is a clinical-stage biotechnology firm dedicated to developing innovative therapies for severe, rare diseases. We are currently seeking a Vice President, Technical Operations to join our Executive Leadership team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with a deep desire to participate in the process of creating life-changing medicines for patients. This strategic leadership role is primarily responsible for new product introduction, life cycle management of commercial products, and providing technical support for contract manufacturing sites. The Vice President will lead a team of scientists, oversee CDMOs in the US and Europe, and have budgetary accountability for internal and external technical activities.Applicants must have a degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, focusing on drug manufacturing and process development. The role requires a proven track record of leading teams through commercialization and product launch, strong planning and execution skills, and significant experience in global strategy development and implementation. The Vice President will be expected to manage flawless product launches, ensure manufacturing operations' compliance with regulatory requirements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to think strategically and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
