About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for TPA Services to spearhead the strategic development of a next-generation TPA platform for major life and annuity products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and scalability of TPA functions, evaluating and prioritizing the tools necessary for successful operations, and collaborating with product teams to automate functions. This role demands a leader who can co-develop a roadmap with technology teams, oversee the TPA Services team, and ensure that TPA operations not only meet but exceed industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The VP will also be tasked with evaluating staffing needs, defining and implementing processes, and maintaining a strong focus on the company's mission and goals.Applicants for the VP, TPA Services position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years in the life insurance and/or annuity industry, including at least 3 years in a senior TPA management or operations role. The role requires in-depth knowledge of TPA operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, as well as a proven track record in hiring, developing, and retaining top talent. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in mainstream enterprise apps and excel in an independent work culture, demonstrating a commitment to mentorship, learning, and a 'low ego' approach to problem-solving.
