About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Translational Data Science with a focus on Computational Biology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in industrializing the drug discovery process, particularly in the integration of genetic and genomic data with advanced analytics to drive precision medicine. This role involves setting and executing strategies to connect data from -omics platforms with patient-derived genetics, identifying and validating target selections, and driving the development of translational biomarkers for patient selection. The Vice President will lead a team of computational biologists and data scientists, guiding them in the use of ML and data science to optimize the development of therapeutic programs. Key responsibilities also include contributing to the strategy for patient genetic and biomarker data collection in clinical trials and establishing data and diagnostic partnerships to support the company's industrialized drug discovery platform.Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in computational biology, with a strong background in ML and its application to drug discovery. The role requires a proven track record in integrating large-scale patient and population datasets with in vitro functional genomics to transform target and biomarker identification. Experience in precision medicine and regulatory considerations for patient stratification is essential. The ideal candidate will have a history of managing and mentoring teams in a matrixed environment and be adept at developing and implementing novel computational tools.
