We are seeking a talented Director of Media Relations to join our dynamic team helping to grow and mainstream the social impact and sustainability space.
Job Summary: The Director, Media Relations, will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing media strategies for our clients within the financial services and impact investing / sustainability sectors, however, direct experience in impact investing is NOT required. However, applicants should have a deep understanding of the financial media landscape with experience working in the asset management and alternatives assets arenas strongly preferred. In addition this role requires strong relationships with key journalists, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that elevate our clients' profiles in the industry. The Director will lead media outreach efforts, develop strategic communication plans, and work closely with senior leadership to drive brand visibility and reputation.
Ideal Candidate: Someone who is excited by, and values, the idea that business can be a catalyst for solving the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. Someone who has worked in-house in Corporate Communications or at a large PR firm but has wanted more from their career - more flexibility, more independence, more excitement and much more purpose.
