DescriptionThis position plays a vital role in the creation, preparation, control, and destruction of primary and secondary packaging labels used in the packaging and distribution of stability, analytical, commercial, and clinical trial materials. In addition, you will be responsible for generating, issuing, and controlling Randomization Codes. Responsibilities
Store, receive, prepare, inspect, stage, return, store, and destroy labels.
Generate item masters and receive various types of labels into the inventory system.
Adhere to labeling project timelines to ensure materials are ready on schedule.
Create label inspection packets prior to the printing of all label types.
Format all randomization codes before printing clinical labels.
Interact with Quality Assurance to ensure label inspections are completed on time.
Assist in staging labels for production use.
Help rectify label problems and report outcomes to Project Management.
Process destruction requests and returned clinical labels.
Manage label stock for internal printing via inventory adjustments in JD Edwards.
Participate in departmental projects and initiatives, meeting assigned deliverables.
Recommend new or revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and FDA regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and above average math skills.
Computer proficiency in Word processing, Microsoft Access, and Excel, with experience in Excel spreadsheets for formatting randomizations.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects/task concurrently.
Ability to proofread and inspect all labels accurately.
Competent in reading small/repetitive text patterns and numeric sequences.
Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a customer service mindset.
Ability to work independently.
General knowledge of cGMPs and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Clinical Supplies.
