**Position Summary** An exciting opportunity exists within the Immunology and Inflammation Therapeutic Area. The focus is on Rilzabrutinib, an oral BTK inhibitor that is currently under investigation for the treatment of various immune-mediated diseases. This role plays a crucial part in contributing to research that enhances our understanding of this innovative therapy. **Key Responsibilities**
Collaborate with the Rilzabrutinib project team to design, execute, analyze, and document both in vivo and in vitro experiments
Generate supporting preclinical research data essential for understanding the mechanism of action related to Rilzabrutinib
Communicate data insights and recommendations effectively as a vital team member
Adhere to corporate standards concerning laboratory practices, safety protocols, and material handling
**Qualifications**
PhD in Immunology or a related biological science
Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-doctoral research experience in academic or biopharmaceutical environments
Proven background in immunology with a specific focus on autoimmunity
Strong laboratory experience in cellular immunology techniques, such as ELISA, assay development, tissue culture, flow cytometry, primary immune cell assays, and ex vivo analysis
Experience with in vivo preclinical models related to autoimmunity is preferred
A track record of scientific publications that demonstrate excellence in research
