Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for various controls engineering project requirements. This includes tasks such as control system design, DCS/PLC programming, control panel design, instrumentation, check-out support, and start-up assistance.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required (directly related experience may be substituted for degree)
- Preferred 5 years experience in Ethernet-based control systems, safety systems, instrumentation, components, logic programming, and DCS programming (e.g., DeltaV, Experion, 800xA.)
- Experience with instrumentation and controls/PLC system design (e.g., Allen Bradley, Modicon, Siemens) is necessary
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is desired
- Key competencies include knowledge of contract documents and specifications, the ability to collect field data accurately, perform system design functions, planning, customer focus, timely decision making, informing, organizing, priority setting, and problem-solving.
TravelThis role may require up to 35% travel.
