Job SummaryAs a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in collaborating with a diverse team to develop new products, enhance current offerings, and address market needs while ensuring quality and cost objectives are met. Communication skills are essential as you will interact with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Your responsibilities will include a mix of hands-on tasks, office work, and utilizing MRP/ERP software, SolidWorks, and specification development to bring new designs to life.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and enhance existing ones
- Ensure adherence to quality and cost objectives
- Engage with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
- Utilize MRP/ERP software, SolidWorks, and specification development
- Incorporate new designs into SolidWorks and MRP/ERP system
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, hose assembly, thermoplastic hose extrusion, and assembly processes
- Experience in Plastic Injection Molding is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
- 5 years of experience in design engineering
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
