Role: Automation Test Lead for Workday Project

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop scalable, robust automated testing frameworks and solutions for Workday modules, adhering to industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.

• Spearhead the creation and enhancement of automated test scripts, libraries, and utilities to validate Workday functionalities, integrations, and business processes.

• Showcase expertise in crafting data migration testing frameworks, ensuring meticulous data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout migration processes.

• Lead the formulation and execution of test strategies and plans for migrating legacy systems to Workday, drawing upon extensive migration experience.

• Identify avenues for test automation and offer recommendations to automate manual testing tasks, amplifying testing coverage and efficiency.

• Conduct thorough feasibility assessments and ROI analyses to prioritize automation initiatives and maximize coverage across Workday modules.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to seamlessly integrate automated testing into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for Workday applications.

• Remain abreast of emerging trends and technologies in test automation, consistently evaluating and adopting novel tools and frameworks to elevate testing capabilities.

• Provide adept technical leadership and assistance in resolving automation challenges, refining test scripts, and fortifying automation infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, specializing in test automation and the design of automated testing frameworks for enterprise-grade applications using Python or Java.

• Demonstrated proficiency in architecting and implementing automated testing frameworks utilizing tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or equivalents.

• Familiarity with ETL testing methodologies and tools (e.g., NoSQL, Elastic, Microsoft Informatica, Talend, Boomi), as well as API testing tools and techniques.

• Deep comprehension of HR and HCM principles, business processes, and regulatory requirements.

• Possession of relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and Workday (e.g., Workday Pro, Workday HCM Fundamentals, Prism, People Analytics and reports) is advantageous.

• Knowledge of database automation tools and libraries (e.g., SQL Alchemy) for automating database operations, querying databases, and validating data integrity is a plus.
