Mt. San Antonio Gardens is seeking an Interim Director of Admissions to join our team. The Director of Admissions plays a crucial role in welcoming new residents and is responsible for managing all aspects of the admissions process to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for our residents.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain both internal and external waiting list and projected timelines, so that appropriate priority judgements can be made.
2. Meets goals of keeping homes maximally occupied. Offers homes to prospective and current residents. Prepares quotes and pertinent information to applicants/residents regarding their moves. Communicates acceptance of residence to appropriate departments. Coordinates with the Maintenance Department to ensure move deadlines are met.
3. Monitor and maintain occupancy levels and ratios at the targeted levels for independent living.
4. Tours current residents, and applicants when requested, to show available residences. Offers homes to prospective and current residents. Prepares quotes and pertinent information to applications/residents regarding their moves. Communicates acceptance of residence to appropriate departments.
5. Prepare contracts and other required documents. Conducts contract signing meetings with incoming residents.
6. Assists with the selection of standard items for the refurbishment of homes.
7. Communicate effectively with associated departments (Housekeeping, Facilities, Nursing, etc.), ensuring that rooms are ready for occupancy, that actual moves go smoothly, and necessary information is communicated prior to the transition.
8. Represent MSAG in a professional, proactive, caring manner in the community
9. Prepares Founders Fee Projections for distribution to the Finance Department.
10. Coordinates final physical for prospects, works in conjunction with the Gardens Medical Advisor and Chief Financial Officer to ensure admissions requirements are met.
