Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- Progressive experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures.
- Proven experience in developing and managing standard cost systems.
Focus of the Role
- Establish accounting policies, including revenue recognition and cost accounting .
- Partner with Operations leadership team to understand performance, optimize finance related operational decisions, introduce process discipline, and safeguard company assets.
- Regional Controller responsibilities for several manufacturing plants (includes some travel)
- Manage month end/quarter end close responsibilities.
- Maintain documentation of process and procedures for SOX compliance purposes and ensure controls are consistently performed.
