An Atlanta law firm seeks an experienced Legal Assistant to support a group of partners, associates, and paralegals in the employee benefits, ERISA litigation, and compensation group. This role will provide a range of administrative support to the group with a keen attention to detail. A large part of this role will be focused on attorney time entry, invoice preparation, and working with the firm's billing team. Duties: Draft, transcribe, revise, and maintain legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and context consistency. Perform complex document formatting and conversion from PDF to Word. Create and revise complex charts in Word. Screen telephone calls, liaise between attorneys and clients, and provide courteous customer service. Manage mail, note important dates, and retrieve files/documents. Enter attorney time into the system and assist with invoice preparation and billing matters. Handle administrative tasks for attorneys/paralegals, ensuring compliance with firm procedures. Maintain and update physical and online filing systems (iManage). Manage contact lists, calendars, and coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys. Prepare expense reports and other administrative forms. Schedule appointments and coordinate resources such as conference rooms. Prepare and deliver error-free final documents promptly. Assist with internal and client meetings. Assist with scheduling CLE courses and paying bar dues. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned. Requirements: 5 years of experience in a legal administrative support role Prior experience handling attorney time entry and billing Prior experience in employee benefits, ERISA law, or general litigation preferred Strong technology skills Excellent grammar and proofreading skills #IND
