Job Description:
- Deliver high-quality care to patients with mental health and behavioral disorders in a clinical setting.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications, perform therapeutic interventions, and provide crisis management as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment and support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Adhere to safety and confidentiality protocols, and ensure compliance with mental health regulations.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current RN license in Kansas.
- BLS certification required; additional certification in psychiatric or mental health nursing (e.g., PMH-BC) preferred.
- Prior experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing is highly desirable.
