Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Help patients improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments.
Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance functional performance.
Educate patients and their families on adaptive equipment and techniques to facilitate independence.
Evaluate and document patients' progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Education And Certification Requirements:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan.
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
