Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive care to mothers and babies through the labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
- Monitor fetal heart rates, and mother’s vital signs during labor and manage a variety of labor conditions.
- Administer medications, perform epidurals, and assist with inductions and other procedures as needed.
- Support and educate mothers and their families after the birth process on the care of the newborn and mother.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for mother and baby.
- Document all patient care in a concise and thorough manner in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Oklahoma.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; additional certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
- At least 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery, with critical access hospital experience beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling high-stress situations.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care.
