Job DescriptionNuclear Medicine Technologist - Salina, KSLocation: Salina, Kansas
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours
Pay: Up to $3200 per week

Job Description:
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging, non-imaging, and therapeutic procedures
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural data
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and procedures
Education And Certification Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, practices, and safety procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
