Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with behavioral health issues
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health maintenance
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMH-BC) is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
