Job Description:
- Provide care and support to expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during childbirth
- Assist physicians during procedures such as cesarean sections and episiotomies
- Educate new mothers on postpartum care and newborn care techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico
- Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
