Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Assist in pre- and post-operative care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain one.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- CMSRN (Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
