Job Description:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Emergency Room department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
- Lead and mentor ER nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and administrative staff to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Manage department budget, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and department performance, implementing improvements as needed
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in emergency nursing.
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
- CEN Certification and/or advanced trauma training.
