Job Description:As a CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the application of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting CT scans and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Preparing and positioning patients for scanning procedures.
- Operating CT equipment and ensuring proper functioning.
- Adhering to all safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure in radiologic technology.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in CT imaging preferred, but new graduates with strong skills are encouraged to apply.
